ABOUT STEPHROCK

Around the turn of the century (1998), Stephrock founders (and friends since middle school) Rick and Jim had an idea for a fun family card game.  They created a prototype and played with family and friends.  It was good.  It was fun. They vowed to bring it to market someday. Then life happened:  marriages, kids, houses, real jobs etc. The prototype languished in an old shoebox, only to be rediscovered by Jim during a 2020 pandemic family game night.  Jim's family played it again.  It was still good.  It was still fun. Jim called Rick, and they agreed the time was right to bring the game to market for everyone to enjoy. Stephrock was formed.

Zeke’s Gold Grab! is the first game released by Stephrock, a new family card and board game publisher based in Minneapolis-St. Paul MN.  We are inspired by the resurgence of gaming, and driven by a desire to create easy to learn, fun to play family games that are appropriate and accessible for all ages.  Zeke's Gold Grab! is our first launch...but not our last.
